Cold November
A Sailing Trip to Port Ludlow
November 25 & 26th
Back from Mexico and the Baja Haha on Yohelah, we headed up to
Port Ludlow to join the Puget Sound Cruising Club raft-up.
We had 4 boats anchored behind the islands in the back hole,
and we all had food to share.
The next morning we had slushy snow on deck and an ice skim in the harbor.
I missed the shot of Elsie clearing the decks with her dust pan. . .
Sailing back was interesting. We were hiding out of the current near the West shore
and we could barely see trees near Kingston or the front of the boat in the
blowing snow. Back at the dock we couldn't count the number of gloves drying.
We ran two heaters and were warm and comfy again. Well not Mexico warm. . .
