While the sail to Bahia Santa Maria was a little shorter, it was lumpier, harder to sail,
and we even used the quieter trysail as it doesn't bang or slat like the main. This was the tough leg on gear;
we damaged a VHF radio, ripped my big zoom lens right off the camera, and popped the bridle on the spinnaker pole,
so the anchorage was welcome, just before dawn on the sixth.
Bahia Santa Maria was beautiful with the fleet spread out in front of us. The water was warmer and
Teresa finally got to swim off her boat! Rob who's a Spectra Watermaker Rep,
was off to help the other boats, and we provided water to several cruisers with low tanks.
In the evening several Seattle crews came over for Rob and Teresa's special dinner
"pizza on the grill".
