A dayhike with Bob Knosp
August 22, 2007
Bob Knosp and I hiked up the Pacific Crest Trail through old growth forest and fog,
an 11-12 mile hike. A series of long switchbacks leads to Kendall Ridge at 4,700 feet.
On the east side of the ridge, the Katwalk is a section of trail that was blasted
out of a steep granite slope. What a project! We found good mushrooms, and muscles
I didn't know could hurt like that. . .
