with Diana Talley
February 16th &17th, 2008
With great recommendations from the Puget Sound Cruising Club, and hoping Ron and Suzie
Bauman were headed up to Port Townsend, I took off very early for Diana Talley's Varnish Class.
What a treat! Diana is a wonderful teacher and a very rare person in the Marine Varnish Cult.
She was not only having a good time teaching us, she was happy to make it easy and
determined to demistify the "secret, hard and scary" varnish process.
What a grest chearleader! I think everyone in the class left eager to "put it on!",
and much less afraid of the process. Thanks Diana!
I also want to thank Suzie and Ron, I got to crash on their wonderful Nauticat,
and wake up to sunrize in Port Townsend. What a fine "learning' weekend.
Too bad Diana only does one class a year. . .
