Our friend, Dave Reid, just got his captains license, and invited us to his open house party to celebrate. It was a good chance to meet his "family" of friends, and see his fast, aluminum, IOR Peterson 44, his live-aboard home. Dave keeps our old boat, the 1973 C&C 27 "Whisper", for fun local sailing. She's "out to pasture" after his Sail Transport Company adventures, but still loved and sailed. It was cold, but a good party, with good food, and good friends. Thanks Dave!
