My friend, Burton, from back in Common College days, "like 1974 man" brought his son Ben up for a couple days. We dinghied out for crabs, and Ben learned how to kill, prepare, and enjoy them! We sailed around Bainbridge Island, and even flew the spinnaker South of Keyport. Kathleen made crab cakes while we sailed, but I had to put my plate down to gybe. It was a smooth, perfect gybe, I wanted to get back to my crab cake before it cooled. "Will gybe for crab cakes!" is our new cry. . . It was a pleasure to see Burton so relaxed, and I hope we see Burton and Ben again. . .
