When the Christmas boat lights go up, and the Argosy Boats start arriving, it's time for the Port of Seattle's Open House called "Deck the Halls". The Port put out a good spread, food and drinks, and passed out mugs and calendars too. This year all the Shilshole businesses were open with treats and prizes. Angela at Dockside Solutions kept the room full, serving wonderful gumbo from Geo's, and many of the kids got their face painted at Jibe Expresso next door. We lucked out with the weather - it was warm enough to chat outside.
