Helping coordinate the Salmon Bake, we picked up the Salmon, loaded up the boat, and lashed the barbecue into the dinghy. We headed off to Port Madison, but were distracted by a boat parked on the breakwater. That was odd! We even sailed a little on the way over, rafted up with friends, and soon there were nine boats tied in a line. At least six other boats anchored around the bay. Folks and food showed up, by car and boat, and we had a great potluck with about 60-80 people at Hidden Cove Park. Cruisers know how to eat, always have stories, and all the grins and smiles show what a great time we had! If you missed this Salmon Bake, make plans to join us next year. . .
