Tacoma Flagship Maritime Trip

With a bit of prodding from Doug Lombard, Captain and founder of the Coho Ho Ho Rally, I signed up for Skip Anderson's Captains class at Flagship Maritime Training in Tacoma. While I have been told to "get your captains license" for years, the process has been overwhelming. Skip gave a talk to the Coho group last year and I was very impressed. He was someone I could respect, and learn from. Because it's such an intensive course, I took the boat down to Tacoma with Gabriel's help, a very wet trip! The class was great, a good group, a lot of learning, and more "cramming" than I ever did in college! Captain Kirby and Jan were constantly working behind the scenes, to help folks with the charts and process. Skip has quite a helpful teaching style, and we learned more than we ever will need to know, about an old Chesapeake chart. I was grateful to have Jack crew on the return trip. Here's pics from both "delivery" trips and the Flagship classroom. Thanks all!
