The Puget Sound Cruising Club Circumlocution Race is an annual casual race, either way around Bainbridge Island, with a finish line under the power-lines entering Liberty Bay. We had a late start, weren't racing anyway, and got to see one of the big Clipper Race boats. An easy trip through Agate Pass, we caught up with Pegasus, and joined the raft-up in time for the "Horrors de Hoover" contest. While the award for coming in second, in the Circumlocution Race is important, the real competition is for the hors d'oeuvres. Sharing meals and stories are always a lot of fun. Seven boats rafted for the night, and we had a couple more visiting. When everyone left on we stayed avoiding the squall, and came back Monday morning. What a great weekend!
