The Puget Sound Cruising Club Salmon Bake/Potluck and Raft-up, a great annual tradition, was held at Hidden Cove Park, in Port Madison. Steve and Elsie on Osprey, the green Annapolis 44, launched their old life-raft, and folks got to climb in, from the water in gumby suits. We cooked wild salmon for over 50 people, and had a fine potluck dinner. What a delight to see so many cruisers! Some like Paul and Judy, have been out out cruising for years. Lisa had only been in town 24 hours! Jim and Deb brought the poodles, and Michael his new Cal 29, with lots of enthusiastic grins. We hung out with friends at the raft-up, and shared lots of stories and a big Sunday brunch, featuring Steve's gallimaufry, of course. Martha and Scott, on the big Navy 44 Audacious, get the photo award - they sailed by us, reaching back at full hull speed, for the best shots on the return trip. What a great sunny sailing weekend!
