Every year, since 2003, when Kathleen and I went down the coast on John's Pretorian Andiamo, I've tried to make the Wauquiez Rendezvous. Each year at the RDV, I see old friends and new faces. I try to photograph everyone I can, but usually miss a few. So if I missed you, please say "hi" next year, and be sure I get better pics of you, and your crew. It's a long day and even with an early start, you can get caught on the Hood Canal Bridge. There's always a fun race, and at the planning meeting we could see that this year we'd have a little more wind, yea! We missed Sam and Kay on Beluga, but Steve Knudson stepped up, with Aeolus as the committee boat. Everyone was pleased with the wind this year, and the racing was close. I sailed with Ross and Kam, on Turbulence and shot pics of all the boats, even the cruisers, ferries and police action on the course. Seeker, Amantea, Air Fare, and Crescendo were very competitive. Snow Goose must have passed us at least three times! Where was Earendel? Nice to have such good steady wind, and you can see from all the smiles, we all had a great time! I love the sunset light in the meeting room for the potluck dinner and presentation by JoAnne and Michael Gray. Ross did a great job keeping everything organized, and Mike did his Wauquiez industry report and brought goodies, nice log books. I tiptoed off in the dusk, for the drive home. What a great day, with lots of people and boat photos! I hope you enjoy the pics, and I see you next year! Thanks!
