For 26 years my sister, Lane and her husband, Rodger have done an annual pig roast up, at their rustic Cle Elum property. Supported by Marti, the pig master, John the hard worker, and the camping community, it's a wonderful chance for a very interesting eclectic group of folks to enjoy a great weekend, camping with friends, plenty of food, even a few traditions. It's always very casual, and I get to bounce around and and take photos of it all, food and flags, details and patterns, touch and conversations, adventures and jokes, portraits and snapshots. Years later, we see the same folks, who've come and gone, now with new scars, different jobs and misadventures, big and subtle changes, new kids and families too. What a fun tradition! I try to photograph everyone I can, but usually miss a few. So if I missed you, please say "hi" next year, and be sure I get better pics of you. Hope you enjoy the pics, and we see you all, next year! Thanks!
