Jill brought Kathleen a furry hat, and we headed downtown for the Women's March. We took the monorail to Westlake Park to wait for the march. Wow what a great group! I've never been in such a big crowd, and just look at all the signs and smiles! Lot's of different, often creative signs, plenty of frustration, anger and distrust with Trump, but the overall, feeling was very positive - We are all in this mess together! The people marching just kept coming, more and more than anyone expected, and at the end of the day the estimates were up to 175,000 or more! While mostly women, we saw lots of men, families, children, young and old, though mostly white - it is Seattle after all. You can see by the pics, the density of marchers and diversity of messages. Clearly Trump has a lot of issues, and has pissed off a lot of people. Around two PM we followed the crowd to the Space Nettle, and met up with Scott and Mimi. Wow what a day! I hope you are as impressed as I was! Yes the odd Dragon pic was from the Vietnamese Lunar New Year at the Seattle Center - I just left in in for one more little bit of diversity. Thanks all - I'm with her!
