Scrambling to include as many folks as possible, we had our extended family Thanksgiving on Friday this year, on one of the wettest weeks of the year. Of course preparations started early, and Kathleen made four pies and an Amaretti Chocolate Torte for the cruising club desert potluck on Saturday. The turkey was brined overnight and cooked on the grill. Note the yummy whole wheat Iranian bread. Lots of food, friends, family, five visiting dogs and even a few checkers games.
