Nice clients Michelle and Shez picked me up at 6AM, and Shez and I were walking onto the ferry to Bainbridge just as the sky separated from the city lights. Charles gave us the full Uber Mercedes delivery, to the delivery. At the Liberty Bay Marina, Jack brought the Sluys pastries, Mei the alert navigator and we were off in the rain. What a wet trip! Shez was the dedicated driver, under his first bridge with the huge mast. Charles called to tell us about the fog rolling in, and we could barely see the container ship. The fog cleared a bit and we put the sails up off Shilshole, more for pics than really sailing, with no wind. With a 2pm haul-out scheduled we were wanting for the train to get under the railroad bridge, and waiting for the big locks a full cycle. Up to the lake level, we made it to CSR close to 1PM, where Wayne the surveyor was waiting. CSR did a great job, hauled the boat and put it in a cradle. For the survey, it took a lot of moving, and sorting stuff out, and we finished about 7:30PM. Venus was up by the time I got home to the dock, damp and pooped. Thanks all!
