Seminar #2 was Sail Repair and Maintenance at Ballard Sails. Taught by Joe & Alex for the last 4 years, this is always a great seminar with plenty of stories and laughs. They show us many of the typical problems cruisers face, and the tools, materials and the field repairs to get you to the next port. There are a lot of details and tricks for protecting and maintaining your sails, so this is always an informative and appreciated evening. We also had a sailrite presentation, with several machines running so folks could see just how many layers of sailcloth they could sew. Good potluck, hats and swag too. . .
