For almost 30 years, my sister Lane and her husband Roger have brought an interesting eclectic community together for a pig roast at their cabin in Cle Elum. People come from all over, and while they may see each, other only once a year, they are soon friends. Marti and John wrangle the pig, and everyone brings food for the pot luck dinner - always a feast. For the folks who camp, there's a line for custom omelets the next morning. This was a calmer, smaller group this year, preserving a great tradition. Thanks all! (Click on a image below for a larger image "slide show" - arrow keys work well.)
