Here's pics from our extended family Christmas get-togethers - read meals. Kathleen's daughter Michelle learned to make Piroshki in the Soviet Union when she was a teenager. Now Michelle is teaching her grown kids and their friends how to make them. It's a good tradition, delicious and a fun afternoon! Sami invited us all up to his Redmond apartment for a Christmas Day brunch. Sami and Michelle pulled out all the stops for a good time, even brought out the pet squirrel-ha! Michael, in from Montana, cooked all the "Swedish" pancakes. Jill brought extra gifts and goodies. We had lots of good food, passed around the white elephant gifts, and waddled home stuffed. Kathleen and I went around the North end of Lake Washington, stopped by Lane and Roger's for a quick visit, and the flower and pomegranate shots. Good times - thanks all!
