Tim called asking about my Islander 36 listing, but I had already sold it. He had a Islander 32 and wanted a bigger heavier, more comfortable cruising boat. We traded a few stories and I learned what a serious sailor he was. I had a better suggestion, Alba the Sabre 38. Surprise, next I knew he and Ute his sweet wife were down to check out the boat. I missed the pic, still in my head of the two of them. What a great couple. Here's pics from the quick delivery up to Seaview boatyard, before the nasty weather, and the wet survey with Wayne. I hoped we would get to use the new lift, maybe another day. The Velox shot is to show the paint on the prop. I think it worked better than the usual Barnacle Barrier coat. Wayne is always so helpful and informative! We brought the boat back to Elliot Bay Friday morning, in light air. What a great, good time! Thanks all!
