Kathleen's message room is in Xiapin Song's Qualicare Natural Health Clinic in Bellevue.  When her mother died, Dr. Song invited us to mother's memorial.  It was the first time we had been to Acacia, and a beautiful day.  Dr. Song invited quite an eclectic group to join her family, and we had a thoughtful Buddhist ceremony led by Rinban Kusunoki.  There were prayers, chants, a reading from Rennyo Shonin (1415-1499), and flowers.  Afterwards we had an extensive traditional dinner at the nearby Yu Shan Chinese Restaurant.  What a thoughtful and memorable way to mark a passage.
