Housesitting for Steve and Elsie has given us a yard, grill and space for a fun potluck party, with our sailing friends. It's become a bit of a tradition. Always kinda last minute, we never know who's in town and can make it. Some folks are off to Mexico, others in Alaska or the San Juans. Tor, Jess and the boys had just returned, and came straight from their boat. Wendy and Garth from Bainbridge bicycled up, Martin from Annapolis made it, and the neighbors cat too. Most everyone knows each other, so the conversations and seating just keeps changing. As usual, I tried to get casual portraits, shots to share and the smoke provided a warm soft light.
