We ducked the cold and windy adventure Saturday! Spray was flying over the breakwater, and Steve and Elsie reported a 40kt gust off Meadow Point. Most folks had challenges getting out of their slips at Shilshole. Sunday, we took the ferry over to Port Madison, and lucked into Tor and Odin at the park. They gave me a ride out to the raft up and Odin showed me the engine room of their big boat. Lars was waiting, Red Hot had left early, and Jeremy on the C&C 29 Whisper was leaving. Soon everyone left, headed up to Mike and Nita's for their big PSCC brunch potluck. Steve did his traditional Gallimaufry, Jerry maned the waffel maker, and big island was covered with cakes and casseroles. With great food and company, and everyone busy, we snuck off for Mike's short construction tour. I had to get back to Shilshole for a boat showing, took the Winslow Ferry, and we had good look at the reef leaving, and a different view of Blakely Rock and Mount Ranier. What a great morning! Thanks all!
