I didn't sign up for the Sloop Tavern / Liveaboard Race, know as Race Your House, but I didn't want to miss the chance, to see the boats and take pictures. Sarah and Dave were willing sail to with me, so we got off the dock, after most of the boats had left. What a parade of boats out ahead of us, most going to a mark we couldn't see, in Port Madison Bay. It was great to see AJ on his nice C&C 99, s/v Victoria, cross tacks closer to us. With Sarah driving, we caught and passed a few boats, blew right by the mark, and headed back into Port Madison. Sarah and Dave had never been in there, so we did the full tour, all the way into the back bay. They loved it, and now know where to anchor. It was cold for a few minutes working North into the wind, but after Point Monroe, the wind was lighter, so we put the spinnaker up for a sweet reach home. Freeflyte, the fast Freya 39, lined up with Mt. Ranier out by West Point, and we saw AJ again, and Red Hot coming out, at the North Shilshole entrance. What a great sunny Fall day! Thanks all!
