The Coho Ho Ho Rally preparation includes a couple raft-ups and several field trips before folks head down the coast. We usually do one easy raft-up, close to Seattle, and again this year went to Blakely Harbor. I got to sail down with Eric and Linda on their Valiant 42, s/v Rover. We sailed up towards the Edmonds tankfarm and down to Blakely with the drifter and jib poled out, sweet. We had seven boats at the raft with reports of others anchored nearby, and a fine potluck dinner on Betsy and Warren's big Beneteau. Warren gave me a good quick dinghy ride around the raft for the pics. I sailed back with Craig and Anika on their big Wauquiez Centurion 42. We played with the pole too, so I didn't get many pics, and what happened to the boats still rafted? They must have been having too much fun, I didn't see then on the way home. Clearly a good weekend. As usual, I try for shots of friends boats along the way. Thanks All! (Click on a image below for a larger image "slide show" - arrow keys work well.)
