With twelve or thirteen Coho seminars, we try to prepare cruisers, for more than just the first passage to San Francisco. Coho Alum Susan Peacey spoke about her introduction to cruising via the Coho Ho Ho trip in 2014, which lead to many subsequent sailing adventures, and an extensive skill set. Now a Flagship Captain and trained diver, she's done deliverys on both coasts, been through the Panama Canal, cruised in the Caribbean, Mexico to Costa Rico, and even dived in the Gallopus Islands. What fun!
Another Coho Alum, Chris Michaelsen started off the evening with some very helpful information on getting a Temporary Import Permit (TIP) for taking your boat into Mexico and how complicated it can get if you boat already has an open TIP! Thanks to Captain's Supply for sharing their great location and a few discounts with the Coho fleet of 2019, what a great local resource! As usual, I try to get shots of the Coho group, and even a few location details. I hope you enjoy the pics - thanks, Lee!
