The cruising club has learned to plan their first potluck indoors, after several years when the wind and tide kept folks from even making it to Blakely Harbor. This year, we went to the nicely remodeled, Eagle Harbor Marina clubhouse. Bob the new owner, took care of us, bringing a second propane tank for the stove. Hardy cruisers, Steve and Elsie were the only ones who came on their boat, S/V Osprey. Kathleen and I rode over with Jim, on the big boat, the ferry to Winslow. We were a little early so Jim and I walked the docks, checking out the cruising boats, and one powerboat with a big name - the fine print says the third F is silent! When we got back to the clubhouse, Nita, Teresa and Kathleen were busy decorating. We had a fine fun group, with lots of good food, of course! While it was a "Polynesian" theme potluck, I was so busy with my camera, I missed the spam. It was great to see Chelsea and Matt, and Idarae and Richard, fitting right into the group, on their first potluck. Thanks all!
