Magnolia, WA
June 7th, 2020
Sheltered in place, up on Magnolia, these pics from mid-April to early June are snapshots of a few details that caught my eye. It's not a photoschool "shot a day" kind of thing, just some of what I saw at the time. When I first started taking pictures years ago, I couldn't begin to photograph people, but I felt safe capturing waterdrops, flowers, clouds, light and shadows. Forty years later, I'm still drawn to the color and details around me - "look at that!" I'm still cropping tight, sorting order out of chaos, appreciating the light and clouds. As you can see though, while quarantined, I'm very grateful to Kathleen, enjoying the good company and many fine meals. . . The visit to see Pat in his shop was a rare "social" vist, and then we took a little food up to Scott. Nice to be out. . . Stay home, stay safe. . .
