November to January / Shoreline, WA
Here's pics from our Winter quarantined up in Shoreline, thanks Jill! Kathleen's been cooking up all kinds of great meals, wonderful roasts, fish tacos, fresh bread and cookies, and interesting Mediterranean meals, which Scott and I certainly appreciate. I've been playing with cameras, mixed light and casual snapshots. I picked up a 12mm/2.8 manual lens which might be useful for some boat interiors and I've even been playing extensions tubes again. Testing focus, failing and struggling in low light, I've and pushed the ISO sensitivity higher than usual. It's been a gloomy wet season, with a wet December followed by a wetter January, with a month of rain in the first four days! I've been down to Shilshole almost daily and included a quickie wreath tour of O-dock and a few boat shots. At Sunset Hill Park above, I smeared the lights for my "Christmas Card" shot... We splurged for a tree, and Scott strung the lights and put up another wreath. He saved us by finishing the puzzle. It's been months of rain and I really miss the gatherings with people, where I can look for casual people shots. I hope you enjoy these shared pics - I like helping friends, family and clients, and these pics are good therapy for me. Thanks all!
