Grant came up from Olympia for this Catalina 320, s/v Verdebest survey with John Sanford, and was quickly into the boat with him. We had the haul-out planned for 2pm at Canal boatyard, a couple bridges away, so we did a short sail in Lake Union on the way over. It was good to be working with John again, he can explain things well, is super through, and prioritizes the findings for the buyer. We have stories that go back many years, and this time I got the pic of "the surveyor in a box". Ha! We had to wait for a powerboat to be blocked before we could be hauled, lucked out on the weather, and made it back through the bridges - whew! There was even a little sunshine and colorful sunset.
Please enjoy these shared snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me.
