Anacortes, WA
I drove up early to Anacortes to help out with Don and Kaaron's survey, and sail on the Cape 39. They had an offer on the New Zealand built Swanhaven II, an offshore design sailed to the PNW by John and Amanda Neal. A tough well-designed boat, she has strong Bronze fittings, interesting SS rings on the boom and mast, and a reefing winch, and spinnaker pole, I haven't seen before. Lynne and Andy from Lodestar Marine did the survey, and Russ drove. I helped sort out the boat, sails, found sheets, hanked on the #2, and rangled the mainsail. As usual, I work to get the boat sailing, and try to get pics of the boat and crew, and couldn't not take photos of Mt. Baker, the Foss tug Garth, or Askov. Thanks All!
Please enjoy these shared snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me.
