Seattle, WA
This year, all Christmas plans and traditions seemed fragmented. Asked to house-sit up on Magnolia again, we moved up a just before Christmas, with project scattered. Déjà vu 2020, we are back to covid quarantine, again! In a spacious house with a great view, we are very grateful to be here in the Seattle deep freeze. Kathleen's kids - all grown up are scattered, Michelle off to her Montana kids, Jill up the hill out in Monroe, and Scott at the Evanston house. Kathleen had planned a cookie cooking day, but ended up doing it all by herself. Scott came down, for a festive beef in beer dinner, and I only photographed the salad! Sami, Michelle and the dogs made a brief visit, and Michelle & Scott put decorations on the tree. Whether building a rock wall, or placing ornaments on the tree, Scott is always so thoughtful! Christmas morning I made the Dutch Apple Pancake, just winging it. It may have fallen by the time we ate it, but still good. It's been a very quiet, Covid Christmas Week. Thank you all!
Please enjoy these shared snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me.
