Pacific Marine Center - Anacortes, WA
Russ asked me to come up to help sort out the Herreshoff for the survey and sea-trial. It was a delight to meet Melissa, Chas and Ajax and their big ketch. She will be a great platform for their plans, and a safe stable ship to sail. As usual, surveyor Lynne is a delight to work with, always so good with clients. This was only my second ride on the airbag cart Pacific Marine Center uses to move boats. It's an interesting trip through the boatyard, to the ramp across the street, a busy place. We made it into the water, but after the short sail, the tide was too low to make it up the ramp. Lynne finished the survey at the dock and we walked up through the boatyard. I hope you enjoy these shared snapshots - I like helping our clients, and these pics are good therapy for me. Thanks all!
