Anacortes, WA
I got to help sort out the big Beneteau for the survey and sea-trial up in Anacortes. It was great to meet the buyers, Carolyn and Jim, smiling behind their masks. Aaron Bandstra had surveyed Carolyn and Jim's last boat for the buyer, so they knew what to expect. He's always so good with clients, and we weren't out in the rain and sleet - yea! Russ drove and the Bellingham mechanic was Travis from NW Diesel Power. This time we went the the Anacortes Marina lift, only to discover we had to turnaround and back into the slings. Wow - look at that heavy bulb! No wonder the boat is able to carry the tall rig. Jim was delighted to understand how he could jump the halyard, and get the main up quickly, with Caroline tailing at the clutch. Yes, the strong track system does help! We soon had the boat powered up and sailing smoothly. How nice to be out on the water on a sunny day - thanks Aaron. I hope you enjoy these shared snapshots - I like helping our clients, and these pics are good therapy for me. Thanks all!
