Ballard, WA
Alan arranged for quite a crew for his Cooper 37 survey. He drove up from Swantown Marina with mechanic Meredith, and arranged for Lynne and Andy to do the boat survey at CSR Boatyard. CSR guys hauled the boat, pressure washed and changed the big zinc and got us back in the water while we all checked out the boat. Stored in fresh water there were no barnacles on the prop - haven't seen that in years! Back in the water we headed over to Lake Union where we could put up sails, and run the engine up. Sailing down the lake, we asked Meredith who was driving, if she was still powered up - we were all impressed by how well she sailed. Back through the Freemont and Ballard bridges, we found the staysail and reviewed the findings. What a good fun crew! Please enjoy these shared snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me. Thanks All!
