Shilshole/Seattle, WA
Sarah and her sailing buddy Fred came up from Oregon for their next enterprising adventure, with the Catalina 34 Fair Winds. They've sailed, hiked and ran mountains, chartered somewhere warmer, and Sarah wants her own boat. The good old Catalina 34 is a sweet sailing, manageable choice, and they are moving quickly. Here's a few shots with surveyors Lynne and Andy - he's the one with his head in the bilge, or taking oil samples. Course Lynne was explaining from the first moments looking at the flashing decklight and broken Windex, to under the sink and wrapping up at the end of the day. Again, Lynne had me adding transmission fluid, and Andy and I got the oven clicking. I always find odd fun shots, and teach easier ways to tie up fenders. What a great crew, friendly clients and surveyors - a fine day with light air and pretty water. Thanks all! Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me.
