Anacortes, WA
What a great day! I got to sail on the big Dufour 460 Survey and sail with brokers Russ from West Yachts and Karolee from Windworks, surveyor John Sanford and clients Mark and Sherry. We unloaded the fordeck, two kayaks and a dinghy, must be a deal 4 boats for the price of one, started the engine and motored over the Anacortes Marina / Seattle Yachts Service Yard. It was the first time I had seen this Volvo folding prop or the jet thruster. Back in the water, we sorted out the self tacking jib - sweet upwind, and even tried a little wing on wing down-wind, for a nice fun little day sail. Just look at all the smiles!
As usual, I try to get shots of the crew, sails and scenery to share. Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me, and it's always a good to be on another boat, especially with such gracious fun people! Thanks all!
