After a couple of tough Covid years, with meetings on zoom, we are finally getting to meet in person again - YEA! What a treat to see so many PSCC cruisers back in town: Jim and Barbara are back from Greece, and Candy has a fine boat, sailed around the Horn, for sale in England. Patrick and Natalie, and David and Kathleen, are both back from Alaska adventures, and sorting out bigger boats. David and Roz are back form NZ and the South Pacific, Scott and Donna are back from Mexico, and Bill and Kathy's boat is in Turkey. Nicole and Kelly were back at the front desk again and Kristina is sharing Sloop Tavern Yacht Club cruises.
Ross and Kam put together one of the best presentations about their trip down the East Coast, Florida and the Bahamas on their Malo 40, s/v Spindrift. Look at that Gulf stream current! With the Gweduck, a rare float-plane, they had beautiful aerial photos of bays and islands they were sailing through. Kam brought lots of bird photos, and remembered more bay and island names. With the Covid shut-down, Ross & Kam found a small weather window to return to the US and truck Spindrift home.
Many of the older PSCC members are used to me photographing at raft-ups so it's wonderful to see everyone again. Years of PSCC trip photos are HERE. Thanks for your patience while I'm experimenting with cameras, lenses, and ISO settings - light sensitivity just trying to get a few people pics in the crowd. That odd bar shot was from Brouwer's where Jeremy joined us after the meeting. Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me, and it's always a good to be back with such an experienced group of sailors! Thanks all!
