My clever sister Lane has a delightful tradition, she throws a party after Thanksgiving for her community of friends. While once it may have been a way to get rid of the leftovers, now it's a big serious potluck. She's been very busy getting ready, refurbished the laundry room, added a new reading light in the front room, and wow added lots of new lights in the kitchen/big room. Lane even had the table refinished. What a great potluck crowd; many friends we've seen at her Annual Pig Roasts, lots of neighbors, coworkers from a variety of careers, and even fun tennis players. There was generous food and drink - decimated, lots of laughs and many serious conversations. As usual, I tried to get shots of everyone, and despite grab-shot focus issues, this webpage should give you a good idea of the gathering. Look at all those smiles! What a tradition, and thanks for the light Lane!
Please enjoy these snapshots - the pics are good therapy for me. Thanks all!
