Carl needed to have a few repairs done on his Swanson 42, Carried Away, and wanted to take the boat to Thomas Boatyard. I haven't been through the locks in awhile, so I volunteered to help him and his son. I wanted to see the yard too. It wa another drizzly day, then hot and sunny inside the locks. Look at the clouds and light at the Ballard bridge. The boatyard was almost under the bridge. There John and crew rebuilt the rub-rail, re-bedded a couple deck prisms, and did a midsize couple deck repairs. Carl brought the boat back to Shilshole so I could get more "fixed" pics and show the boat. As always the trip over was another "Good Day" on the water. . .
Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are therapy for me, and it's always a fun to be with out on another good boat, without the rain! Thanks all!
