Port Madison / Bainbridge Island
With the usual Salmon Bake car load; food to share, barbecue, charcoal, tools, table, chairs, and cameras, we worked our way down back roads from Kingston to Port Madison. When we arrived, Marisa and Andrew were doing their last dog walk before leaving, missing the salmon bake this year - Argh! I always try to get shots of the PSCC fleet as they arrive, and other interesting boats in Port Madison. Deb, her brother Jon, and Jim arrived with pop-ups for shade and as always, stepped up to help with set-up and clean-up. Soon everyone was arriving by boat or car. Sarah and Dave were right where needed, and did much of the grill work. We had a fine spread of potluck food, and just enough salmon for all. I tried to get shots of everyone I could - sorry if I missed anyone. By the time we cleaned up, and made the ferry downtown, it was a smokey colorful sunset, a great day - THANKS ALL!
Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are therapy for me, and it's always a pleasure to be part of this cruising club tradition.
