What a delightful surprise and small world! Russ asked me to come up for the survey/sail on the Cascade 36. When I got to the boat, I found out the buyer was Chuck, who I had sailed with last Fall. Chuck had a heavy Ingrid cruiser he and his wife took to Alaska, and a big Norseman 454. He needed a simple modest boat he could keep sailing from his beach house mooring. What a good choice! With simple systems, this narrow, smooth sailing boat has a extra long waterline and easy tiller steering. The cutter rig makes for smaller easy to manage sails, and is self-tacking. It's always good to be on a Lynne survey, and out on the water again. Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me, and it's always a pleasure to be out on another survey/sail. Thanks all!
