Without a website notice, or a commodore, and with just a little planning, we scrambled to have a September meeting. Sarah sent out an email, she had already paid for the PSYC room, and soon we had folks checking in for a social planning meeting. Like most cruising club events it was a bit of a potluck, as people arrived with a complete potluck, plus pizza. Scott & Donna had stories about their summer sail around Vancouver Island, and Sara kept us on track. Sheri volunteered to be our new Commodore - yeah! Sharon n & Jeff are planning another summer BC trip. Experienced cruise leaders, Renee and Tom came up from Tacoma o meet everyone. Mark and Diane reported in, they are in Malta to see Jim and Barbara on Complexity. David J. is back in town with a 46' J-boat stored on the East coast. It's always good to see Steve and Elsie, David and Roz, Alan, and Jonah who's come back again. All in all, it was a fine core group of at least 20 people. We really do have a good group of people - the core of the club. . . Please enjoy these snapshots - the pics are good therapy for me. Thanks all!
