Bellevue, WA
Kathleen planned another family dinner - one she didn't have to cook, and it was quite a special success. We went to Sushi in Joy, a favorite Bellevue place we used to visit back in the early 80's. It's a modest Japanese restaurant tucked in behind a little shopping center on Bellevue Way. Kathleen has three grown children she tries to keep up with; Michelle, Scott, and Jill. Michells friend Sami and I are the plus ones. We drove over in rush hour traffic and actually got there early, with time to read, parked at the little Northtowne Neighborhood Park. When we arrived to find a parking spot right in front, Sami was there with the dogs. Michelle was early and parked nearby too. We had a cosy booth for the six of us and such a great dinner! Ordering from both the Sushi and dinner menu, and sharing, we all ended up stuffed. It's always good to see everyone, and hear their stories. Shopper Jill brought stuff, but you can't guess from the pics what it is, just see Kathleen's smile. Oh well, I try for pics as usual. What a fine special evening. Thanks all!
