For many years Steve and Elsie have hosted the Puget Sound Cruising Club annual cruise planning meeting. Elsie does a big pasta with a couple sauces, and everyone brings plenty of fine potluck dishes and wine. Like most potlucks, it always works out, with a balance of side dishes salads and deserts. While many members have extended Pacific voyages or circumnavigations. Steve and Elsie have more local to Alaska experience than anyone I know. They are a great and generous resource, and planning the next years cruises are always a fun tradition. Jim called the planning meeting together with the Alaska native drum, a nice touch. We have a handful of traditional trips, and check the tides and currents planning the longer three-day trips. It's always a good fun group get-together of sailors that make up the Puget Sound Cruising Club, and I try to get pics of members at raft-ups or meetings. Thanks all!
