s/v Telos
Anacortes, WA
Drew and Karen came down early from BC, to clean and prep the classic 1988 Bristol Channel Cutter s/v Telos. The buyer, Lucas flew out from New Hampshire with Colorado Catherine, arriving after surveyor Lynne from Seattle started. Dean the Marine Service Center broker came up from Seattle and Russ the owner of West Yachts dropped by for a few minutes and even brought water and a pizza - thanks Leslie. So we had a good crew for this survey, an interesting trip from the yard to the water, and a smaller crew for the sail. Built by the Sam L. Morse Co. these are great sailing, coveted boats, well known for fine construction, thoughtful details and storage for voyages. With Drew, an Aussie sailer eager to explain the design details and sail, I was able to photograph the boat and crew. What a great day with good wind, great boat and fun crew! As usual, I tried to get shots of everyone, even Ida the Aussiedoodle. Enjoy, and Thanks all!
