Anacortes, WA
Here's pics from the Catalina 320 survey day, May 2nd, starting in the Anacortes Marina for a change. Jay came up for the survey, with his wife checking in by phone. With a late haul-out schedule, we did an early sail, and the RPM test after the haul-out. Yea, we have Lynne surveying this boat, and Russ driving - it's his listing. As usual, I tried for shots of everyone, the survey process, haul-out, below the waterline, and misc. odd boat details from the furling-line knot to the dinghy wheels. "If you can't tie a good knot, just keep tying knots?" I caught the broken Dutchman Reefing Line in the sail shots, and the light on the aft-cabin mattress. Note the safety on the big flare - I've never seen that one before. I even remembered to get a shot of the anchor locker. Good boat, good crew, and we couldn't ask for better weather - at last it's Spring! Thanks all!
