Hidden Cove Park, Bainbridge, WA
For many years the Puget Sound Cruising Club has kicked off the summer sailing season with an annual salmon bake, now at Hidden Cove Park in Port Madison. Ten boats anchored or rafted, mostly between the Port Madison and Seattle Yacht Club docks. More folks came by car, or the big boat, a ferry. The Pop-ups for sun shade helped some with the light misty rain, and the soft light made for better pics than contrasty bright sunlight. We had lots of help, fun stories, potluck dishes to share, and plenty of nice fresh Sockeye Salmon. As usual, I tried to get shots of everyone I could, and misc. details from the odd plant to the artsy shoes. Special thanks to Sarah and Dave, who brought the salmon, the grill with the clicker rack, prepped and cooked, wow! It was great to see everyone and I hope you enjoy these pics. Thanks all!
