Port Townsend
Off the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, I drove through the rain to Port Townsend to catch up with the departing 2024 Coho Fleet, dubbed The Magnificent Seven. Bob was looking for pictures of Starlink mounts on coho boats, and I found Ardent and MoiMoi in Point Hudson and Quincey, Eglantine, Shiloh and eventually Simka in Sea Haven. Counting Stars left early and was in San Francisco already. By noon the rain stopped and I ferried folks up town to Brandt's place for a casual lunch get together. Everyone had projects, jugging fuel, moving dinghys, filling water tanks, patching a sail or mounting their starlink. Quincey trialed their storm sail. Later we met at the Pour House for drinks and stories. It was fun to see the rest of the crews, and trade stories. At dusk I left for a few more shots of Simka's Starlink, and the drive home. What a good group of cruisers this year - The Magnificent Seven!
