Blakely Harbor, WA
Missing the Puget Sound Cruising Club - Tequila Race, I wrangled my trusty crew, Sarah and Dave and we sailed down to Blakely Harbor to join the Raft-up. We dodged fishing boats, watched the Coast Guard "boat to chopper" transfer training, and had a great sail. When we arrived, Red Hot and Monte Salaro were rafted in the back and everyone from the three boats were on the Valiant 42 Selah. It was nice to catch up with folks, just look at all the smiles in a rare group shot - thanks Chantel. I tried to get good individual and group pics at the raft-up. On the way back to Shilshole, I tried to get shots of Selah and Red Hot, with Seattle in the background. With light wind, we put up our spinaker - so the wind died. North of West Point, Adventuress was out, and Shez sent a rare pic of Simplicity with our spinnaker up. Inside the SBM breakwater, a dingy roared up, with Tom from Moonstar asking about who was at the raft-up! Wow, what a good day - thanks all!
